NCIT Business Incubation center was declared open by Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) Chairman Prof.Rohan Samarajiva on 26.06.2018 @ 121 /1 Power House Road,Jaffna Town. Program headed by Chairman of NCIT Thangarajah Thavaruban.
Program started with lighting traditional oil lamb and followed after 1 min silence prayer.
In the event ,K.Viknesh (Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Yalrpanam) ,Mr. K.Kanojan (Assistant Director of Srilanka Export Development Board Northern province) ,Mr. B.Sivatheepan(Manager,Central Bank, Northern province) , Dr.Ramanan (Head of Computer Science ,University of Jaffna), Mr.Senthuran,Mr.Siva (North Leaders from WUSC), Representative from FITIS, Representative of Jaffna municipal Council Commissioner were participated as Special Guests and Prof.Rohan Samarajiva,T.havaruban ,K.Viknesh, Mr. K.Kanojan,B.Sivatheepan,Dr.Ramanan delivered guest speeches.

NCIT given memorandum to ICTA Chairman at the stage. NCIT members and government officials also were participated. Program ended with vote of thanks by Mr.Kamalraj (Board Member NCIT) . It is a Joint project by Canada IE-NESL (Innovation Ecosystem North East Sri-Lanka ) and NCIT (Northern Chamber of Information Technology).
